This Strawberry tree, Arbutus unedo was collected in 2008. because of interesting hollowed trunk.
Soon after collecting we have removed secondary trunk and make hole on that spot.
Apex is left to grow freely until next growing season, and then cut back.
Crown condensed quickly.
Few months ago we have improved nebari, by hollowing of two dead parts of it, and merging it with hollowed trunk. Chop is also handled to look better.

Nice. I like the trunk. Look like it is growing really fast.
Branches are thickening fast in compare to other species, also young branches gets bark similar to bark on old wood soon.
